Through the University Grants Commission (UGC), applications are invited for National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) from eligible candidates for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and Ph.D admission. Eligible for : Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and Ph.D Admission.
Educational Qualification : Master’s Degree with 55% marks OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC [SC/ST/OBC/PWD : 50% marks]
Age Limits :
- JRF : Not more than 30 years as on 1st day of the month in which the examination is concluded i.e. 01.01.2025. [SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgender : 5 year relaxation]
- Assistant Professor : There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
- Ph.D Admission : Thereis no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Admission to Ph.D.
Fee : Rs. 1150/- [Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL : 600/- , SC/ST/PwD : 325/-]
